The Old Tithe Barn is just two miles from Chesil Beach in the village of Litton Cheney set in beautiful countryside on a working farm. The detached barn is Grade II listed and dates all the way back to the 13th century and now provides character accommodation for up to eighteen guests across nine bedrooms all of which are en-suite. The property feels spacious even with all 18 guests and there is a large garden to relax in. There is a 2 acre coarse fishing lake which you can use by arrangement with the owner and you are within strolling distance of the local pub.
The accommodation at The Old Tithe Barn comprises of a spacious, beamed living room with vaulted ceiling, wooden floor, corner bar, woodburning stove, Freeview TV, DVD player, radio/CD player and WiFi. The large kitchen has a stone floor, walk in larder, hob and oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. The dining area is attached to the kitchen and has a huge table and chairs for all 18 guests. If the thought of cooking on your holiday doesn't agree with you then catering can be organised by arrangement with the owner. There is a games room complete with pool table. There are three ground floor bedrooms, all arranged as twins with TVS and en-suite shower rooms with shower, basin and toilet. There is also a separate cloakroom on the ground floor.
Up to the first floor via the choice of three staircases to five double bedrooms, all with a TV, 5ft bed and en-suite bathroom with toilet. A final twin bedroom has an en-suite shower room with toilet. A cot and high chair can be provided upon request.
Outside there is a large, enclosed garden complete with patio, terrace, furniture and barbecue. There is a cycle store and ample parking for all. A welcome pack will be awaiting your arrival. Your fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price.

Formerly known as Bridport Harbour, West Bay lies just 2 miles away from Bridport and has a small harbour, 2 piers and 2 beaches one of which is part of Chesil Beach. West Bay was made famous as the location of a television series by the BBC called Harbour Lights, which aired in 1999 and 2000 and starred Nick Berry. At the top of the cliff lies the Bridport and West Dorset Golf Club with a full 18-hole course and 9-hole "pitch and putt" course in the summer season.
