Fossilers Lodge is located in the heart of Lyme Regis and within walking distance of cafes, pubs, restaurants and harbour with its golden, sandy beach. Lyme Regis is renowned for its fossils and there are guided walks available so you can understand what to look out for and the best places to look for them. If you fail in this task though, Fossilers Lodge is situated above the Lyme Fossil Shop so you are guaranteed to come away with something! The building is Grade II listed with new kitchen and bathroom but retaining many of the buildings original features. Many of the rooms have window seats with some rooms having glimpses of the sea.
The accommodation at Fossilers Lodge comprises of a ground floor entrance leading to the first floor where the kitchen/diner has sea views and is equipped with a gas hob and oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The lounge also has some sea views and a large, cosy wood burner as well as a TV, DVD player and WiFi. Bedroom one is arranged as a double and there is a shower room with toilet and basin. Up to the second floor there are a further 3 bedrooms, two twin rooms and one double. The double has an en-suite shower room with toilet and basin and there is a further bathroom with bath, toilet and basin. Finally, a utility area houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. A travel cot, high chair and stair gate can be provided.
Outside you will find a small, paved courtyard complete with table and chairs. Fossilers Lodge accepts up to two well behaved dogs. There is allocated off road parking for one car. Additional public parking available nearby (3 day and weekly tickets available). Your fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price.

Lyme Regis, nicknamed 'The Pearl of Dorset' is the most westerly town in Dorset and lies on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. The town is famed for its fossils which can be found on its beaches and cliffs. The famous harbour wall known as 'The Cobb' featued in the film and novel of The French Lieutenant's Woman by John Fowles as well as Jane Austen's Persuasion.

The Dinosaurland Fossil Museum is also located in Lyme Regis in the former church where Mary Anning, famous fossil collector, dealer, and paleontologist was christened.
